About Lucia Williams
I'm Lucia Williams, founder of Ascend Pro Health and a Mental Health Outreach Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting children, young people, and adults with mental health and complex needs.
Throughout my career, I have volunteered and worked for several Charities, Community Mental Health Services, Special Schools and Colleges, Children’s Residential Homes, Residential Care Homes, Supported Living Services, Respite Care, Complex Care Services, Drug and Alcohol Services, Rape and Sexual Abuse Services, CAMHS, Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICU), Acute Inpatient Settings, Forensic Services as well as Mental Health Step Down Services. That hands-on background is what sets Ascend Pro Health apart. I continue to be inspired daily at how human beings have the capacity to change their lives despite extraordinary circumstances and I firmly believe every individual deserves their story to be heard, validated and appreciated.
Now I run Ascend Pro Health, a one-person business providing structured, person-centred support to adults living with mental health needs, either on an as-needed basis or by covering planned leave and shift cover.
WHAT I DO
With over 15 years of experience in the education, health, and social care sectors, I work closely with Local Authorities, Social Workers, NHS teams, Community Mental-Health Services and other relevant organizations to provide structured, person-centred support for adults living with mental health and complex needs.This includes conducting assessments to identify the specific needs and goals of individuals, developing tailored recovery support plans and implementing tailored interventions that promote independence and overall wellbeing.
QUALIFICATIONS
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminology (BA Hons) and a Master’s degree in Mental Health and Clinical Psychology.
